Our stainless steel Manway Tanks are based on the plain tanks that we sell, which come with the addition of a front mounted manway door, ideal for the removal of post-production waste, and subsequent cleaning. Also supplied with every storage tank is a tight fitting lid, a strong three legged stand to hold the tank securely, and two 1” ball valve type taps.

These are made from 304 grade stainless steel, and are available in sizes from 300L up to 1000L with an attractive engine turn (swirled) pattern finish on the external walls. The conical shape at the bottom of the tank allows for all of the contents to be drained out once the bottom tap has been opened, ensuring that nothing is left behind, whether it be valuable product or cleaning liquids.

A front manway door is fitted, with a diameter of 300mm, which allows for easy cleaning/removal of any solids that might have been used in a production process such as mashing grains in a brewery, or the steeping of fruit with alcohol for example. Two taps are included with every tank, the lower of which is connected to the conical bottom, and another which is fitted at the lower end of the side wall, and is ideally suited as a sample valve. Additionally, a 3 legged stand is included with every tank, as well as a lid which fits tightly enough to prevent airborne particles from getting inside the tank, but isn’t able to hold gas pressure.
