With a huge volume of 1000L, this stainless-steel mash tun has the capacity to assist in the production of high strength beers and would be ideal for a distillery with a large still.

Each tun has a 300mm manway door installed to allow for easy access to waste products to be cleaned away after use, as well as a 1” outlet tap at the lower end of the conical bottom of the tun.

Inside the tun, there is a 50mm thick wall of highly efficient foam insulation, which prevents the temperature from dropping by more than 2C during a 90-minute mash period. To prevent further heat loss, a sparge arm is built into the insulated lid, which removes the need to open the lid during the sparge cycle.
